  • what is the return policy?

    if you would like to return or exchange for any reason you may do so within 30 days of receipt. please send the unworn item(s) in their original condition including tags, polybags and hygiene seals and follow the step by step instructions here to complete your return or exchange. 

    tropic of C reserves the right to deny a refund or exchange if items have been worn, soiled, laundered or altered in any way. items may not be canceled or edited once the order is placed.

    items marked FINAL SALE cannot be returned or exchanged.

    domestic returns:

    return shipping costs are $8.95 and non-refundable. first time purchasers receive free returns.  please allow 10 -14 business days for your refund.

    • follow the step by step instructions here to submit your return.
    • drop off at your local US Postal Service location.

    international returns:

    all international returns are at the expense of the customer. please be sure that your package is insured, traceable and prepaid.

    customers may experience shipping delays beyond our control.we appreciate your patience and assure you your package will be sent as quickly as possible.


    free DHL ground shipping for domestic orders. DHL ground packages can be tracked via

    orders ship out within 2 - 3 business days monday - friday. ship times are approximately 3 - 5 business days after shipping, depending on location.

    FedEx overnight shipping: $35. FedEx packages can be tracked via

    - placed mon - thur before 2 pm EST: next day delivery.

    - placed friday before 2 pm EST: monday delivery.

    - placed friday after 2 pm EST: ships monday for tuesday delivery.

    - placed on a holiday: ships first day after service resumes for next day delivery.


    free international standard shipping for orders over $200. shipping, duties and additional fees are calculated at checkout based on size of order.  standard shipping may not be offered in select locations.

    ship times are approximately 4 -16 business days, depending on the delivery method at checkout, but can vary based on delivery country.  all duties and taxes are the responsibility of the customer.

    please note: orders to Russia can only be delivered to business addresses. orders with residential addresses will be marked undeliverable and sent back. if you would like to place an order, please email customer service at

    please refer to the size chart on the product page or fit guide to best estimate your size.

  • how do i care for my swim?

    When cared for properly Tropic of C swim will last for years. As a guide to best care for your swim while reducing your environmental impact follow these guidelines: 

    skip the washing machine and the dryer to avoid greenhouse emissions and damaging your swim.

    thoroughly rinse your swim with cold water after each use and lay flat or hang to dry.

    only use a small amount of gentle detergent if needed.

    do not bleach, iron, or tumble dry.

    We recommend rinsing swim using the guppyfriend bag to prevent loose microfibers from entering the water to protect our oceans.

  • can i change my order if i purchased the wrong size or color?

    since our warehouse is working hard to get your items shipped out as soon as your order is placed, we are unable to cancel or edit items in your order once it is placed. you can always return incorrect sizes and colors and repurchase the correct items.

  • where is my order?

    please check your email for a shipment confirmation, which includes your tracking number to easily track your order.

  • how do i use a promo code?

    if your order qualifies for a promotion, please enter the promo code at checkout before continuing to payment method. please note only one promo code can be used per order. promotional discounts cannot be applied to previous orders. 

  • do you offer price adjustments?

    we do not offer price adjustments and cannot apply discount codes after an order has been placed.
